Elysian’s adopter Susan told us “Elysian is now called Marley ☺ Marley has become one of the family, and is also making rounds and getting to know our neighbors – he has made many new friends. He is mellow, loves pets and being held which brings out his big purr, and does love to eat! After a little trepidation, he has become friends with our 12 year old golden retriever. Marley is playful and fun too – we are so happy to have found him in a spontaneous visit to the cat show …in Seaside!”

Louie was with us for almost a year, but he struck gold with his adopters.  Here is their latest report:

“Hi all from Louie, and his mom and dad. Louie has been traveling this past week in Bend and Sunriver. He was welcomed everywhere he went, and treated like a king at all the pet-friendly eateries he enjoyed along the way. While dad was in meetings he went on long walks around the Sunriver Resort, watching the squirrels and bluejays fight over acorns. Most evenings he dined out at Ten Barrel brewing, where he developed a taste for deep fried pickles! He also went to the Village Bar & Grill on several nights with groups of friends and charmed all he met. Evenings were spent in front of the fire in his suite! He spent a great day wandering the shops in the Old Mill District. We had a great trip but it’s so nice to be home again. As always Louie sends his love to all his friends and hard working volunteers at the shelter.

Even with a full size van Louie had to navigate from the front seat. He sat on Judy’s lap to make sure we made it safe and sound to visit Bend Oregon.”
