Diane tells us, “Astrid and Irene are a pair of female tabby cats who have just arrived in the cat adoption room at the Shelter. A nicer set of girls you will not find. They wait patiently for their canned cat food in the afternoon with no meowing or fussing. They were okay with another new boy cat, Mason, visiting them in their kennel and making himself at home there until he left to do some exploring. These girls love their petting time and have made the adjustment to their temporary quarters with no problem. They would love to be together in a new home.”
You can read more about these two at: http://clatsopcounty.animalshelternet.com/adoption_animal_details.cfm?AnimalUID=257144
Pet meet and greets are by appointment only, so if you’d like to meet these two girls, submit an application in advance by going to the shelter’s Adopting a Pet page at https://www.co.clatsop.or.us/animalcontrol/page/adopting-pet. Scroll to the bottom of the page for the application. Be sure to date it next to the signature line (applications are reviewed in the order they are received) and put the name of the animal you are interested in at the top. You can then save the application to your computer and email it to ac@co.clatsop.or.us. A shelter staff member will review it and call you to set up an appointment. Due to Covid restrictions, only two people are allowed in the shelter at one time and each visitor is asked several health-related questions before being allowed in.
