Let me introduce to you Brownie!
At eight years old, she’s firmly in middle age for a house cat, with many years of love left to give. There’s been some debate about the color of this beauty’s fur – is it brown, is it black? What’s going on? Friends. It doesn’t really matter that much, because look at that silver white undercoat of hers! It’s the black smoke coloration and it’s not entirely uncommon, but is nevertheless very interesting and lovely. I would say her fur alone makes a great conversation starter for sure…
And now that it’s started, let’s talk about what a wonderful little cat Brownie is. Like the confection she’s named after, she’s gooey and sweet, and yet the edges have a bit of a crispy chew. That’s not in a bad way – some people prefer the chewy edge pieces. Brownie loves to be brushed, until she’s done. Brownie loves to be petted, until she doesn’t. Brownie likes people, is not fussed about other kitties. Within seconds of meeting her, she was trying to rub her face against mine and giving me tiny mrrps and chirrups.
Brownie is a pretty typical cat, love her on her terms and you’ll get along great. In return for adhering to her rules you’ll get an amazing, chatty sweetheart with the added bonus of her bicolor dream coat.
Forget the other sweets, go get yourself the perfect Brownie.
