Volunteers say she’s a very loving cat, a little bit shy, but very, very soft! She likes people and loves to be pet. Ramona is happy to have been rescued from a life on the streets and her physical and emotional scars are healing quickly – but she’d love a place to call her own with people to dote on her.
Pet meet and greets are by appointment only, so if you’d like to meet her, submit an application in advance by going to the shelter’s Adopting a Pet page at https://www.co.clatsop.or.us/animalcontrol/page/adopting-pet. Scroll to the bottom of the page for the application. Be sure to date it next to the signature line (applications are reviewed in the order they are received) and put the name of the animal you are interested in at the top. You can then save the application to your computer and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org or deliver it directly to the shelter. Application forms are also available on the front door of the shelter and can be filled out and turned in on the spot. A shelter staff member will review the app and call you to set up an appointment.
