Noelle tells us, “Sparky has a lot of love to share. He’s a friendly cat with a beautiful coat and the sweetest little paws. He’s happy to sit next to you and while you rub his head, he’ll send you love hearts from his pretty eyes.” Brenda adds, “Sparky is such a sweetie. A gentle giant who appreciates your pets and company.”
Sparky is a 14-year-old tabby mix and is on a KD kidney food diet for life.
Pet meet and greets are by appointment only, so if you’d like to meet him, submit an application in advance by going to the shelter’s Adopting a Pet page at https://www.co.clatsop.or.us/animalcontrol/page/adopting-pet. Scroll to the bottom of the page for the application. Be sure to date it next to the signature line (applications are reviewed in the order they are received) and put the name of the animal you are interested in at the top. You can then save the application to your computer and email it to email@example.com or deliver it directly to the shelter. Application forms are also available on the front door of the shelter and can be filled out and turned in on the spot. A shelter staff member will review the app and call you to set up an appointment.
