Meet Heath! Heath is a playful six years old German shepherd who’s looking for a forever home. Heath loves to chase balls, but he’s also content relaxing in the sun. He enjoys belly rubs, leisure walks and showing off his tricks. Heath listens intently to whomever he’s with, maintaining eye contact, and tilting his head when he’s curious. Heath would benefit from being with someone who has GSD experience and can give him the love and attention he deserves to live his best life.

Pet meet and greets are by appointment only, so if you’d like to meet Heath, submit an application in advance by going to the shelter’s Adopting a Pet page at https://www.co.clatsop.or.us/animalcontrol/page/adopting-pet. Scroll to the bottom of the page for the application. Be sure to date it next to the signature line (applications are reviewed in the order they are received) and put the name of the animal you are interested in at the top. You can then save the application to your computer and email it to ac@co.clatsop.or.us or deliver it directly to the shelter. Application forms are also available on the front door of the shelter and can be filled out and placed in the drop box on the door. A shelter staff member will review the app and call you to set up an appointment.
