Tundra is a six month old bundle of love. He was very timid when he first came in, but within a few days he decided we’re all best friend and snuggle buddy candidates. Tundra enjoys sampling the toys in the play yard and trying to crawl into our laps when we take a break from running him around. This pit mix knows “sit” and we’re working on “down.” He’s treat-oriented and wants to please, so training should be easy. Note that he will need a fully fenced yard.
Pet meet and greets are by appointment only, so if you’d like to meet Tundra, submit an application in advance by going to the shelter’s Adopting a Pet page at https://www.co.clatsop.or.us/animalcontrol/page/adopting-pet. Scroll to the bottom of the page for the application. Be sure to date it next to the signature line (applications are reviewed in the order they are received) and put the name of the animal you are interested in at the top. You can then save the application to your computer and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org or deliver it directly to the shelter. Application forms are also available on the front door of the shelter and can be filled out and turned in on the spot. A shelter staff member will review the app and call you to set up an appointment. Due to Covid restrictions, only two people are allowed in the shelter at one time and each visitor is asked several health-related questions before being allowed in.
